According to The Chicago Tribune, State Rep. Greg Steuerwald and Senator Connie Lawson were in attendance for the achievement of Ronald Reagan Parkway near I-74.

Local and state officials, including Sen. Connie Lawson, R-Danville, and Rep. Greg Steuerwald, R-Avon, will attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday to commemorate the completion of the work.

The project, which began last summer, is part of Gov. Mitch Daniels' Major Moves highway construction program.

HENDRICKS COUNTY, IN – This week Governor Mitch Daniels endorsed State Representative Greg Steuerwald for re-election.

"Greg Steuerwald has been a terrific partner in moving Indiana forward. He has shown courage and leadership in helping pass historic property tax cuts and in helping to usher in a new era of taxpayer friendly government. Please support Greg's continued leadership in the statehouse," encouraged Governor Mitch Daniels

Representative Steuerwald responded, "It's an honor to be endorsed by, and work with, Governor Daniels, a man who has led the way for a balanced budget in Indiana as well as the largest property tax cut in Indiana 's history."

Representative Greg Steuerwald is a partner in the Danville law firm of Steuerwald, Zielinski & Witham. Prior to attending law school, Representative Steuerwald utilized his master's degree in Criminal Justice by serving as a probation officer for two years. While attending Indiana University-Indianapolis, he served as an intern in the Hendricks County Prosecutor's Office. Upon graduation from law school, he joined his present law firm and has been there since 1981.
