Representative Kathy Richardson is Anticipating Record Setting Turnout in November at Polls

The Indy Star reports increasing numbers of registered voters. The growth rate has been especially high for young voters. In preparation for the heavy Election Day, Kathy Richardson is encouraging absentee ballots, which will begin on October 6th 2008.

"As much as we'll try to prepare polling sites, we can't have enough equipment" in the event of heavy voting, she said. She is anticipating lines at the polls on Nov. 4.

Absentee ballots can be cast in the Voter Registration Office or through the mail. With heavy turnout expected, the office will be open additional hours for absentee voting: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 28-30 and noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 2.

The Indy Star shares in a post that voters will have a chance to vote either for or against the proposed $59.5 million building for Noblesville schools. State Rep. and Election Administrator, Kathy Richardson, is working with Lynn Cook and the Hamilton County Election Board to set up the special election for the project.

Kathy Richardson presents Pinnacle Award to Noblesville resident

The Noblesville Ledger tells about the numerous achievements that Nancy Chance has done for the city of Noblesville. She has been recognized with several awards and can now add the Pinnacle Award to her list. State Representative Kathy Richardson helped in recognizing Chance for her award.

"I'm very humbled," Chance said after learning she had won the Pinnacle Award. She had been invited to attend the chamber lunch by a friend, State Rep. Kathy Richardson of Noblesville, who kept the honor a surprise.
