HRCC Readies for Victory in '08

The Victory '08 team at HRCC has been unable to hide the excitement over early recruits for the 2008 cycle. “I have never seen this quantity of quality candidates step forward to serve in so many realistically winnable seats in my time here at HRCC,” commented HRCC Executive Director Mike Gentry.

The recruitment efforts of HRCC have been successful to say the least. Many qualified candidates all over Indiana have started campaigning to put the state of Indiana on the right track. We are also told that there will be many more exciting recruits to come from all over the state. Whether you look at Bob Heaton in Terre Haute or Mark Messmer in Jasper, there is no question that House Republicans have set a high standard for the quality of individuals coming forward to make a difference in the legislature.

“I think it is also exciting to see that many of these early recruits are everyday people with families, and they also have professional experience. We have candidates that know what is important to Hoosiers and are liked in their communities," added Gentry.
