Chris Swatts wins Republican slating

Chris Swatts, local businessman, earned a position as the Republican candidate in HD89 on Saturday at the Marion County GOP slating convention. His commanding victory was a result of the time he’s invested in the local community and the local Republican Party. Swatts was supported by numerous elected officials, who had glowing things to say about his campaign and what Swatts can offer voters.

“I have known Chris Swatts for over a decade and know that he possesses the right blend of energy, integrity and enthusiasm to keep leading District 89 and Indiana in the right direction. He deserves our support.”

City County Councilor Michael Speedy, Dist. 24

“Chris Swatts is right for the East side, and puts a tremendous amount of effort into our Community. I will be proud to work with him as a partner for lowering taxes, building safer neighborhoods and establishing more accountability in Government.”

“Hard working and dedicated to the East side - Chris will make an excellent State Representative for all of us.”

Benjamin Hunter - Indianapolis City County Councilman, Dist. 21

“Chris Swatts and his wife Kristina have been instrumental in the good works that our organization has been able to do in the neighborhood. They donated personal items and time to our annual Adopt a Family program as well as secured monetary donations from outside the organization. Chris has volunteered and secured various city officials and other community leaders as speakers throughout the year. We look forward to Chris and Kristina’s continued work with our growing Community Heights Alliance.”

Scott Armstrong - President, Community Heights Alliance (formerly Eastside Community Organization)
