Dan Leonard to speak to Huntington University Foundation

Fort Wayne Observed reports that Rep. Dan Leonard will be addressing the Huntington University Foundation.

State Rep. Dan Leonard and state Sen. Gary Dillon will discuss the recently completed session of the Indiana General Assembly and the impact it will have on Indiana at the Huntington University Foundation breakfast on April 9.

The breakfast line will open at 7:45 a.m. in Huntington University’s Habecker Dining Commons, and the program will conclude by 9 a.m. The cost is $6 per person.

The Huntington University Foundation hosts a monthly breakfast meeting open to anyone interested in learning about current issues and Huntington University programs. Breakfast meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, September through May, at the Habecker Dining Commons. State Representative Dan Leonard recently was interviewed by the Talk of the Town blog up in NE Indiana.

Leonard gave us a brief overview of HB1001, what it means, and how it affects taxpayers. He also explained the “Little Red Schoolhouse” Amendment he authored and how it ended up at the end of the legislative session. The quality isn’t great but we’ll work on that for future interviews.
